About EarCandle Company Europe

Ear care that is honest about what it does, shipped right across Europe.

Ear candles, ear washer kits and ear cleaners with a cameraFree delivery across Europe on orders over €5014 days to change your mind on everything we sellWe say what each product does, and what it does not

Why these three, and nothing else

There are dozens of ear cleaning gadgets on the market. Most of them are a rigid pick with a brand name on it, sold into an ear the buyer cannot see. We stock the two tools that actually help, an irrigation kit and a camera pick, plus ear candles for the people who want the ritual and are told plainly that it is a ritual.

An irrigation kit solves the reach problem: warm water lifts wax out of the outer canal instead of a bud pressing it in. A camera pick solves the visibility problem, which is the real reason home ear cleaning goes wrong. Between them that is most of what can safely be done at home, and we say where it stops.

We tell you what does not work

Most ear care marketing promises things the product cannot deliver. We sell ear candles and we say on the page that there is no good evidence they remove wax. We sell cleaning tools and we say they only reach the outer canal. If wax is impacted, we tell you to see a clinician instead of selling you a bigger tool.

That costs us some sales. We would rather have the ones where the customer got the right thing.

Being straight about what it is

Everything else, the metal scoops and the suction guns, we leave to other shops. If a blockage is past the outer canal, the answer is a clinician with a light and proper suction, not a bigger gadget.

How we work

We are an online shop with no physical premises, which is how the prices stay where they are. You order on this site, pay by card through Stripe or by PayPal, and we ship right across Europe. Delivery is free on orders of €50 or more, and a flat €22 under that, arriving 5-7 days after a 24-48 hour handling time.

Not sure which product suits you, or whether you should be using one at all? Email us before you order at theteam@earclean.eu.com and a real person will help, usually within one working day.

We run country stores in several markets selling the same range. If you are outside Europe, start at our company hub, earclean.company.

What we sell

A deliberately narrow range

Three products, not thirty. We stock the ones we can describe honestly, and we leave out the metal picks and suction guns that do more harm than good in an ear you cannot see.

Honest about ear candles

We sell them, and the product page says there is no good evidence they remove wax and that the residue in a burned cone is candle material. People buy them for the ritual, which is a fine reason.

We say when to stop

Nothing we sell reaches wax impacted deep in the canal. When that is the problem, the page tells you to see a clinician rather than selling you a bigger tool.

Exclusions on every page

Every product page lists what the item is not for: a painful or discharging ear, grommets, a perforated eardrum or previous ear surgery.

Frequently asked questions

Why do hearing aids whistle, and does ear cleaning help?

Feedback usually comes from a poor seal, and wax in the canal or on the aid can contribute. Clearing visible wax may help. If the whistling continues, your audiologist should check the fit.

Is an Ear Wax Cleaner good for people who work in dusty environments?

Do not use a tool routinely to keep the canal wax-free; wax is protective. Workplace dust exposure should be managed with suitable hearing protection and occupational guidance.

Does regular cleaning reduce earwax over time?

No, and it can make things worse. The ear produces wax continuously and over-cleaning irritates the canal, which can increase production. Clean only when there is a visible excess.

Can earphones cause blocked ears?

They can press wax further into the canal. Clearing visible wax may help, and using earbuds less gives the ear a chance to clear itself.

How do I clean a Cleaner For Ear Wax?

A Cleaner For Ear Wax should be washed with warm water and disinfected after each use to maintain hygiene and safety.

Can an Ear Wax Cleaner help with ear popping?

No. Ear popping usually involves pressure behind the eardrum, where a wax tool cannot act. Persistent popping, pressure or pain needs assessment.

Are Cleaners For Ear Wax effective for dry wax?

Use only a labelled wax-softening product recommended for you by a pharmacist, and follow its instructions. Do not combine it with tools pushed into the canal.

Can an Ear Wax Cleaner help with itchy ears?

A tool does not treat dryness or irritation and may make either worse. Persistent itching, soreness or discharge needs advice from a pharmacist or clinician.

Should I clean my ears before a flight?

No. Cabin pressure discomfort comes from the Eustachian tube behind the eardrum, not from earwax, so cleaning will not prevent it.

Sounds are muffled after a cold. Will an ear wax cleaner help?

Only if wax is what is muffling them. Muffled hearing after a cold is more often fluid behind the eardrum, which these tools do not reach. If it does not clear on its own, see a clinician.

Can a Cleaner For Ear Wax be shared?

No, a Cleaner For Ear Wax should be used individually to prevent cross-contamination. If sharing, use disposable tips or thoroughly disinfect tools after each use.

Does an Ear Wax Cleaner help with balance issues?

No home ear-cleaning tool treats balance problems or dizziness. Those symptoms can have causes unrelated to wax and should be assessed clinically.

Are soft-tipped ear cleaning tools suitable for sensitive ears?

Soft silicone tips are gentler on the canal than hard picks or cotton buds. Sensitive or previously injured ears should be cleaned by a professional rather than at home.

Should I clean my ears before a hearing test?

Ask the clinic. Wax can affect the results, but most audiologists would rather check your ears themselves than have you irrigate beforehand.

Is home cleaning as good as professional cleaning?

No. A clinician can see properly, use suction under magnification and deal with impacted wax safely. Home tools are for visible wax near the opening of the canal.

Can I clean my ears if I wear hearing aids?

Hearing-aid users can develop more wax, but should ask their audiologist how to manage it. The audiologist should clean the aids and assess any blockage or hearing change.

Are Cleaners For Ear Wax reusable?

Some tools are reusable, but cleaning a tool does not make insertion risk-free. Follow the product instructions and keep every tip at the canal opening.

Will an ear wax cleaner get water out of my ears?

Clearing visible wax can let trapped water drain. Tilting the head and letting the ear dry usually does the job on its own. Water that stays put for days, or a sore ear, should be looked at.

Can earwax affect balance?

The organs that control balance sit deeper in the ear than any home tool reaches, so cleaning wax does not treat dizziness. If you feel unsteady or dizzy, that is a reason to see a doctor.

Is home ear cleaning suitable for older people?

Wax does tend to build up more with age, and gentle irrigation is a common way to manage it. Skip it if there is a perforated eardrum, grommets, recent ear surgery, or any pain, and ask a clinician instead.

How long does an Ear Wax Cleaner take to work?

There is no instant-result promise. Softening and natural clearance may take days, and a blockage that persists or causes pain, discharge or hearing loss needs professional assessment.

Does ear candling help with ear pain?

No. Ear candling is not a proven method for pain relief. Ear pain needs a clinician, because it can mean an infection or a perforation that home cleaning would make worse.

Do doctors recommend cleaning your own ears?

Most ear health guidance says ears are largely self-cleaning and advises against routine cleaning or putting anything into the canal. Home tools are for visible excess wax that is bothering you, not for regular maintenance.

Will removing earwax improve my hearing?

If a wax plug is dulling sound, clearing it brings back the hearing the plug was blocking. It will not improve hearing beyond that, and it does nothing for hearing loss from other causes.

Can a Candle Wax Ear Cleaner be used on children?

Never use an ear candle on a child. Do not insert or irrigate with another device unless a pharmacist or clinician has advised the parent or guardian for that child.

How often should I clean my ears?

As little as possible. Ears clear themselves most of the time, and frequent cleaning dries and irritates the canal. Use a tool when there is a visible build-up bothering you, not on a schedule.

Is an Ear Wax Cleaner better than cotton buds?

Cotton buds can push wax deeper, but that does not make every tool risk-free. Keep tools at the opening, follow their instructions and stop if there is pain.

Can a Candle Wax Ear Cleaner remove hardened wax?

Do not combine an ear candle with drops or irrigation. Candles do not loosen wax and carry burn and ear-injury risks; hardened or impacted wax needs evidence-based advice.

Is a Cleaner For Ear Wax safe to use at home?

No tool is damage-proof and no medical endorsement is claimed. Home tools are only for visible outer-canal wax and should never be pushed into the canal.

How does an ear wax cleaner work?

Suction, irrigation or a soft tip lifts out wax sitting near the opening of the canal, without pushing it deeper. It removes wax. It does not treat itching, infection or any ear condition.

Everything we promise is written down:
